AAIB sending team to Cumbria glider crash

The Air Accident Investigations Branch (AAIB) is sending a team to the site of a glider accident in Cumbria. The aircraft crashed yesterday (7th August) near Kirkland Cumbria and is understood to have suffered substantial damage. The pilot is believed to have been the sole occupant.
