Airbus A330neo topped the types for orders on day three of the Paris Air Show as Irish leasing specialist Avolon signed up for 20 of the type.
Avolon also converted orders for 50 A320neos to larger A321neos.

“Our recent aircraft orders and commitments reflect our confidence in the long-term growth trajectory of the aviation sector, which is outlined in our recent World Fleet Forecast projecting that the global passenger fleet will almost double by 2042.”

The A330neo has proved popular in the leasing market with its versatility to operate efficiently on high density medium and long-haul routes.
Boeing had orders for two Boeing 787 Dreamliners from Leasing specialist Air Lease Corporation and four Boeing 737 Max airliners from Mumbai based Akasa Air.
