Wizz Air to make Luton an all A321neo base

Hungarian Low-cost carrier (LCC) Wizz Air and its UK subsidiary Wizz Air UK has confirmed it will make London Lution (LTN/EGGW) an all Airbus A321neo base by 2025. The airline currently has 11 aircraft based at London Luton which are a mix of Airbus A320, A321 Neo and classic types. [read more]

Wizz Air invests in UK bio-fuel company

Hungarian airline group Wizz Air has invested £5m into a UK based bio-fuels company Firefly Green Fuels. The equity investment into research and development of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) will give Wizz Air access to 525,000 tonnes of SAF over the next 15 years saving 1.5m tonnes of carbon emissions.
