Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair (FR/RYR) has announced it is launching a new route from Birmingham Airport (BHX/EGBB) to Poznan, Poland.

Located on the Warta river in Western Poland, Poznan is a popular destination for those seeking a city break in Eastern Europe.

Forming part of Ryanair’s 2021 summer schedule, the route will officially begin on 3rd July and will operate twice-weekly until the end of October.

Ryanair’s Director of Commercial, Jason McGuinness, said: “We are pleased to announce a new Birmingham to Poznan route, commencing on 3rd July 2021 as part of our UK Summer 2021 schedule.

In addition to the new Poznan route, Ryanair also announced a new route from Liverpool to Kaunas, Lithuania.

Also part of the summer 2021 schedule, the twice-weekly service will begin on 4th June 2021.

Ryanair has also extended its zero-fee change policy until October, so any passengers that book this or any other Ryanair flight before 30th June 2021 will be able to change their booking without penalty if coronavirus travel restrictions are not changed, or they are unable to travel.
