London Luton Airport appoints new CCO

London Luton Airport (LTN/EGGW) has appointed Jonathan Rayner as the airports new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Mr Rayner will join the airport in November and will be responsible for growing and developing the airport’s commercial activity by working with airlines, retailers and other business partners operating from the airport.

CEO of London Luton Airport, Alberto Martin, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Jonathan to the LLA family. His experience across the aviation industry will be invaluable as we look to the future and focus on building a business which will continue to play an important role in the economic recovery of the UK and the local area.

Previously the Aviation and Digital Director at Edinburgh Airport, Mr Rayner has overseen a transformational period at the Scottish capital airport with significant passenger growth and digital innovation.

Mr Rayner said: “I’m delighted to be joining London Luton Airport at such a critical time for the aviation industry. LLA has shown strong signs of recovery so far, and I look forward to ensuring the airport continues to thrive in the wake of COVID-19.

He will take over the role from Jonathan Pollard, who is leaving the airport in September.
