Cardiff Airport is expecting to see 35,000 passengers this half-term, an increase of 20% on the same half-term last year.
The airport reported the passenger figures yesterday, along with the most popular destinations this half-term.
Palma Majorca is the top destinations for Welsh travellers getting away this week, with Vueling, Thomson and Thomas Cook operating from Cardiff Airport to the spanish island.

Spain has proved popular with Welsh Travellers prompting Vueling to increase capacity by 40% this year. However one of the most common complaints heard by Aviation Wales is lack of destinations beyond Spain. Something the Airport is keen to address.
