Leading UK regional airline Loganair (LM/LOG) will launch direct flights from Glasgow Airport (GLA/EGPF) to Cornwall Airport Newquay (NQY/EGHQ) as part of its 2025 Summer schedule the airline has announced.
Commencing in May 2025, the direct flights will strengthen trade links between Scotland and the South West and tourism opportunities.
Luke Lovegrove, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair said: “We are really pleased to be adding the Glasgow to Newquay service to our network of regional UK routes and we’re sure it will prove a popular choice in summer 2025.
“We will continue to work closely with the teams at both airports to maximise the potential of this route in line with our continued commitment to UK regional connectivity.”
Chris Tibbett, Aero Director at AGS Airports added: “We are thrilled to see Glasgow’s home airline, Loganair, expanding its network with the reinstatement of the popular Glasgow to Newquay route. Thousands of passengers travel between Glasgow and Cornwall each summer, and this key leisure service provides an excellent opportunity for those in Western Scotland to explore one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations.
“With the addition of Newquay, Glasgow will be connected to nine destinations in England next summer. This news highlights our continued commitment to offering passengers a wide range of direct services across the UK.”
Cornwall Airport Newquay acts as a gateway to Cornwall with resorts such as Perranporth, St Ives, Falmouth and of course, Newquay itself all easily reachable from the airport.
The Saturday afternoon flight is available to book now for dates between May and September 2025. Prices start at £89.99, including hold and cabin baggage.
