Wizz Air UK, which launches flights from Cardiff in May, has sent four Airbus A321 aircraft to Cardiff Airport for storage ahead of the base launch.
Summer 2021 will see the low-cost airline operate to Alicante, Palma De Mallorca & Tenerife in Spain; Faro, Portugal; Larnaca, Cyprus and Corfu & Heraklion Greece.

Cypriot start-up Cobalt Air (CO/FCB) has begun scheduled operations from Larnaca this week with a 3 times daily service to Athens. On launch it announced that the routes they plan to operate include Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, London Stansted, Manchester, Dublin and Paris. These are due to begin later this month.
