Leading UK low-cost carrier easyJet (U2/EZY) has confirmed it is cancelling all flights to Tel Aviv, Israel until the end of summer 2024 due to the ongoing security situation in the Middle East following the attempted attack by Iran.

The carrier had been operating flights to Tel Aviv from Luton (LTN/EGGW) as well as flights from its European mainland bases in Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland.

These flights will now cease until at least 27th October.

In a statement, the airline said: “As a result of the continued evolving situation in Israel, easyJet has now taken the decision to suspend its flights to Tel Aviv for the remainder of the summer season until 27 October.

“Customers booked to fly on this route up to this date are being offered options including a full refund.”

The decision leaves British Airways as the only British airline still flying to Tel Aviv on a regular basis although this is at a reduced schedule.
