British Airways adds Cincinnati to North America network

British Airways (BA/BAW) is launching flights from London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL) to Cincinnati (CVG/KCVG) from June 2023.

The airline had been teasing for a few weeks about a new North American destination, but this can now be confirmed as a service to the city in Ohio state operating five times per week.

Using the flight numbers BAW121 outbound and BAW120, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will operate the route.

Cincinnati is known for its 19th-century architecture, including the famous Findlay Market. It is also home to Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden making it a great short break destination or part of a two-centre holiday.

Neil Chernoff, Director of Networks and Alliances at British Airways, said: “This is the first time we’ve flown this route, and we can’t wait to connect two cities which both have so much to offer. Not only will this open up these destinations to customers on each side of the Atlantic, but it will also improve connectivity between the Cincinnati region, Europe and beyond, with opportunities to connect to our wider network via London.”

The city will become the 27th North American destination served by British Airways from the UK.
