Airbus has carried out a unique family flight including aircraft from nearly all branches of the company.

The formation flight involved fixed-wing and rotary aircraft from their Commercial, Military and Helicopter businesses.

It featured the Airbus A350-1000 XWB and Airbus A400M. Both of which have their wings made at Airbus UK’s site at Broughton in North Wales.

The A350-1000XWB recently made its first landing in the UK when it arrived at Cardiff Airport for hot fuel tests.

Other aircraft in the formation included a 1550mph Eurofighter Typhoon and their latest utility helicopter the Airbus H160.

An Airbus spokesperson said the flight was a “one-of-a-kind performance”.
