Ryanair turns back on Southend

Irish budget airline Ryanair (FR/RYR) is turning its back on London Southend airport after it announced it was closing its base on the 1st November. Airbus deliveries July 2021

Figures for July 2021 show that Airbus delivered 47 aircraft to 32 customers for the period and had a net order gain of just two aircraft. 45 of those aircraft were single-aisle airliners from the A320 family to airlines including Wizz Air, Bamboo and Air Austral. Ryanair to open Newcastle base

Irish budget airline Ryanair (FR/RYR) has announced it is to open a two-aircraft base at Newcastle Airport (NCL/EGNT) in 2022. Edinburgh to Cardiff air link gets underway

Loganair (LM/LOG) has today launched its Edinburgh (EDI/EGPH) to Cardiff (CWL/EGFF) air link with the first flight between the two capitals taking off today.
