Jet2 and Jet2holidays expand Summer 2025 offerings from Leeds Bradford Airport

Jet2 (LS/EXS) and Jet2holidays, the UK’s largest tour operator and leading leisure airline, have unveiled a major expansion of their Summer 2025 programme from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA/EGNM). Responding to growing demand from holidaymakers and independent travel agents, the companies have announced thousands of extra seats to popular destinations, alongside the addition of a 15th aircraft at the base.

This significant investment means holidaymakers in Yorkshire will have access to over 1.9 million seats across 49 destinations, marking the airline and tour operator’s largest-ever Summer Sun schedule from Leeds Bradford Airport.

The Summer 2025 programme introduces additional flights and extended services to some of Europe’s most sought-after holiday spots, including:

  • Majorca (Palma): Four Tuesday flights weekly from July 1 to September 23, 2025, providing enhanced flexibility to this Balearic favorite.
  • Reus (Spain): New Thursday flights from July 3 to October 30, 2025, ensuring four weekly services during peak times.
  • Faro (Portugal): Additional Saturday flights between July 5 and October 25, 2025, increasing services to three daily flights on Saturdays.
  • Kefalonia (Greece): Introduction of Wednesday flights from July 2 to September 24, 2025, with four weekly services available.
  • Zante (Greece): Extra Monday services from July 7 to September 22, 2025, for a total of four weekly flights.
  • Bourgas (Bulgaria): New Friday flights from July 4 to September 19, 2025, providing three weekly departures.
  • Rome (Italy): Extended seasonal flights with new Monday and Friday services from July 18 to September 1, 2025.
  • Verona (Italy): New Sunday services from July 6 to September 28, 2025, offering weekend trips to this historic city.

To support this expansion, Jet2 and Jet2holidays are basing a 15th aircraft at Leeds Bradford Airport, underscoring their commitment to the region. This addition not only boosts capacity but also offers customers greater choice and flexibility when planning their summer escapes.
