Paul Simmons, Chief Commercial Officer at Flybe, comments: “We have been very pleased with the level of support received for our new routes from Cardiff since opening our new base. I am delighted that we are now increasing our presence with this inaugural route to Munich and with the many additional frequencies we are now offering on seven of our most popular routes.”
Debra Barber, Managing Director at Cardiff Airport, added: “We are very excited to see the arrival of the second aircraft which will really strengthen the Flybe network with more choice for customers offering convenience and value for money. The increased frequency on key routes and the addition of Munich is particularly beneficial for those travelling to and from Wales on business. “The first three months of the new Flybe base has proved customers will choose Cardiff and we are confident the base will continue to thrive now the second aircraft has arrived.”
