Just days after announcing it would replace the FlyBMI service from Aberdeen to the Danish city of Esbjerg Loganair (LM/LOG) now faces competition on the route from Danish Air Transport (DX/DTR).

The Danish airline has announced it will operate a direct service from Aberdeen Airport (ABZ/EGPD) to Esbjerg (EBJ/EKEB) using an ATR42 aircraft four times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from the 25th February 2019

In contrast, Loganair will operate a weekday service to the Danish city using a 49 seat Embraer regional jet.
