European airframer Airbus has reported 40 aircraft deliveries to 25 customers in the month of September 2021.
The number brings the year to date to 424 aircraft to 74 customers.
Some of the recent deliveries include the first Airbus A220 to French national carrier Air France.
Airbus has also recently been buoyed by a 51 aircraft order from UK holiday airline Jet2 which will see it phase out its older Boeing aircraft in favour of Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Airbus is continuing to dominate sales in the airline industry with Boeing still recovering from a disaster out period with the 737 max being grounded although both manufacturers were heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
