Qatar Airways (QR/QTR) has started a recruitment drive for staff at Cardiff ahead of the launch of its daily service to Doha.

With flights beginning on 1st May 2018 between Cardiff Airport (CWL/EGFF) and Doha (DOH/OTHH) the Qatari flag carrier is recruiting for the following roles:

Qatar Airways says it takes pride in its people and promotes a “dynamic and culturally diverse workforce”. All jobs offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

This latest round of job creation at the airport shows the benefits long-haul air travel brings to the Vale of Glamorgan and the economic benefits that could be achieved on a bigger scale if long-haul air passenger duty (APD) was scrapped, something Vale of Glamorgan MP Alun Cairns is opposed to.

When Qatar Airways daily service to Doha begins it will offer passengers from Wales and South West England a one-stop connection to hundreds of worldwide destinations including those in Asia and Australia.
