Menzies Aviation has announced it has appointed a new global head of cargo as it seeks to continue its rapid growth the air freight sector.
Beau Paine will take on the role as well as retaining his current role of Senior vice president cargo (OSEA).
Mr Paine joined Menzies Aviation in 2005 has overseen growth in the Australian and Oceania cargo sector.
Menzies Aviation has recently opened mew cargo facilities at Chicago Rockford (RFD) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) in the US and José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) in Colombia.
It is partnering with South African Airways cargo to inprove facilities at (JNB) and Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
Menzies Aviation has also entered into a joint venture with Bangalore International Airport Limited (BLR) in India, for the construction of a new domestic cargo facility.

Our cargo business has rapidly expanded, growing from 49 locations in 2021 to 75 this year, and we have ambitious plans to take this even further.

Kayla Moa has also been appointed Vice President Cargo Operations, Australia. Kayla, who joined Menzies in 2005, will oversee the company’s local cargo operations and Karl Aldwinckle has also been announced as the new Vice President Cargo Europe. Based at London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR),
