Leading UK regional airline Loganair (LM/LOG) has been granted the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration following its commitment to achieving the highest safety standards for passenger airline transport.

Globally recognised as the highest benchmark for airline safety, IOSA registration means Loganair has undergone and passed a comprehensive evaluation of its operation and safety measures by IATA.

Having IOSA registration will allow Loganair to partner with more airlines in codeshare agreements opening up more choice for its customers utilising its extensive UK network.

Peter Simpson, Executive Chairman, Loganair, said: “Achieving IOSA registration represents a significant milestone for Loganair, and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of multiple teams across the airline.

“The safety of our customers and crew is always our top priority at every level of our business and we are incredibly proud to see that commitment recognised by a global standard in the aviation industry.
