Loganair adds four new routes from Newquay

Leading regional airline Loganair (LM/LOG) is continuing its expansion on of the UK domestic network with the addition of four new key routes from Cornwall Newquay Airport (NQY/EGHQ).

Launching in early 2020 the new routes will transform connectivity between the South West with Scotland and the East of England with destinations including Aberdeen, Glasgow, Norwich and Newcastle.

Flights to Newcastle will start on 1st April 2020 and will operate year-round at four days per week on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Saturday services will operate from May to September, plus Tuesday and Thursday flights in July and August.  

Aberdeen will also be a year-round service with southbound flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will have one stop at Newcastle.

Northbound flights on Fridays and Sundays will have one stop at Newcastle.

There will be also be non-stop services on Saturdays linking Aberdeen and Newquay and extra flights in each direction on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6 July and 4 September.

Operating for the summer only, Glasgow will see weekly Friday and Saturday flights from May to September with additional services on Tuesdays from late June to late August to cover the school holidays.

Also a summer-only service, Norwich will operate on Mondays and Fridays throughout the summer, with extra Sunday services from May to September and additional Wednesday flights in July and August.

Loganair operates a fleet of Regional Jets including Embraer ERJ135 and ERJ145 aircraft as well as a mixture of turboprop aircraft such as the Saab 340.
