A helicopter with two people onboard has crash-landed in a field and burst into flames after the pilot attempted to make an emergency landing.
The aircraft came down near the Masons Arms Pub, Long Marston, Warwickshire just after midday.
Local reports say both the pilot and passenger were able to exit he aircraft before it was engulfed in flames.
Warwickshire Police confirmed the incident on social media: “Officers responded to a report of a helicopter making an emergency landing before bursting into flames in a field in Long Marston this afternoon. Fortunately, the 2 people on board got out safely & were uninjured. They were checked at the scene by paramedics from @OFFICIALWMAS“

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch will now investigate the incident.
