The Wales Airshow held annually at Swansea Bay

This weekend will see the return of the Wales Airshow to Swansea Bay. Previously known as the Wales National Airshow, the two-day event brings a mix of entertainment and aircraft to the Mumbles and Swansea Bay area.

This year’s free event takes place on Saturday 1st July 2023 and Sunday 2nd July 2023.

Whilst the exact running order is yet to be announced (we will let you know as soon as it is) confirmed participants include the Royal Air Force Red Arrows, Typhoon Display Team, and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Other aircraft displaying include a Vampire from Norway, the BAe Strikemasters, Yak 50, Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers, and Swansea’s very own Team Raven.

The event will also see a display from Rich Goodman’s unique jet-powered Pitts Special, G-JPIT!

There is also lots going on on the ground with static displays and traders along the bay area.
