easyJet COO resigns following flight disruptions

easyJet’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Peter Bellew has resigned following the airline’s tumultuous period of flight cancellations and delays.

No specific reason has been given for his resignation but easyJet Chief Executive Officer, John Lundgren said “I would like to thank Peter for his hard work and wish him well.” adding “Everyone at easyJet remains absolutely focused on delivering a safe and reliable operation this summer.”

Peter Bellew joined easyJet in 2019 after a two-year spell as COO at rival budget airline Ryanair.
