Guernsey flag carrier Aurigny is launching a twice-daily service to London City Airport from Guernsey from the end of March.

The new service, which starts on the 31st March, will open up connections to over 30 UK and European destinations for passengers flying from Guernsey.

Aurigny’s interline agreement with BA Cityflyer will also allow passengers to seamlessly connect with London City’s biggest airline.

Andrew Hodges, Chief Commercial Officer, London City Airport, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Aurigny as the first new airline at London City Airport this year – demonstrating our commitment to growing as a business and offering new destinations to our passengers.”

Nico Bezuidenhout, CEO at Aurigny, said: “Guernsey is a tourist destination and an International Finance Centre. Many businesses on our beautiful island work closely with colleagues and clients in London and direct flights to London’s beating heart will also benefit anyone who wishes to explore the city’s many attractions.”

Monday to Thursday outbound flights will leave Guernsey at 07:30-08:30 and 17:30-18:50 each day, arriving in London City around an hour later.

Friday sees an 3rd rotation leaving Guernsey at 13:45-15:05

There is no service on Saturdays but Sunday sees departures at 13:45-15:05 and 17:30-18:50.
