Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines has added two new Turkish destinations from London Stansted (STN/EGSS) to its summer schedule.
The first of the new routes launched on 21st of June 2025 when flights between London and Gaziantep got underway followed yesterday by a new route to Kayseri.
Gaziantep, located in southeastern Turkey, is one of the country’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and a vibrant centre of culture, commerce, and cuisine. Renowned for its world-famous pistachio baklava, the city is considered the culinary capital of Turkey, offering a rich tapestry of flavours rooted in centuries-old traditions. Gaziantep is also home to impressive historical landmarks, including the Gaziantep Castle and the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, which houses one of the world’s finest collections of Roman mosaics. Despite suffering damage in recent earthquakes, the city remains resilient and continues to be a symbol of Turkish heritage and hospitality, blending ancient history with dynamic urban life.
Kayseri is a historic and vibrant city in central Turkey, located at the foot of the majestic Mount Erciyes. Known for its rich Seljuk heritage, Kayseri boasts impressive architecture including mosques, caravanserais, and a well-preserved citadel. It is a major commercial and industrial hub, especially famous for textiles, furniture, and its signature cured meat, pastırma. The city also serves as a gateway to the Cappadocia region, attracting tourists with its unique blend of history, culture, and nature. With modern infrastructure and a strong sense of tradition, Kayseri offers a compelling mix of old and new.
To celebrate the launch, Pegasus Airlines is giving away a pair of return flights from London Stansted to Kayseri Erkilet Airport. For a chance to win, head to London Stansted Airport’s social media channels to enter before 01 July 2025.
