Oneworld Alliance members scoop 40 awards from Skytrax

The Oneworld alliance is celebrating success after its member airlines won 40 awards at the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards, the Oscars of the airline industry.

As previously reported, Qatar Airways was named as the airline of the year as well as the World’s best business class seat and best Middle Eastern airline amongst the nine awards it received.

British Airways, one of the founding airlines of the alliance was awarded World’s Most Family Friendly Airline and Most Family Friendly Airline in Europe and Cathay Pacific, another of the founding airlines was voted the cleanest airline in the world.

In total Six Oneworld member airlines picked up awards with Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines and Fiji Airways also being recognised.
