
Edinburgh headquartered Menzies Aviation is set to acquire Spirit Cargo Handling from SAS Ground Handling Norway in a deal that will see the British ground handling specialist expand its cargo network.
The acquisition of Spirit Cargo Handling will give Menzies addition cargo capacity of up to 150,000 tonnes per year and will include high-demand cargo such as Salmon as well general cargo and freighter services.

Once the deal is complete Spirit Cargo Handling will be rebranded to Menzies Aviation strengthening the companies position as the leading aviation services provider in the Nordic region.
