11th June 2022 saw the return of Teesside Airshow to Teesside International Airport. Over 20,000 people attended the sold out event to watch the Red Arrows perform their display routine over the skies of the North East.

UKAviation.news was on ground that day to capture how the day unfolded.

Displays

A planespotter gets his photographs of the Red Arrows arriving into Teeside Airport before breaking to land.

The Red Arrows conduct a synchronised take-off for their display.

Unexpected departure of the day being the De Havilland Chipmunk which left even before the event had finish providing one last surprise for the visitors.
