
Flights have officially got underway at Jet2’s 13th UK base, London Luton Airport (LTN/EGGW) today with the first flights taking off to Majorca, Tenerife and Antalya.
The airline marked the launch with celebrations in the airport including a red carpet and giveaways as well as with passengers in the air.
One lucky passenger recieved a seven-night holiday in Turkey courtesy of Liberty Signa which was given to them personally by Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy.
The London Luton base will be served by two Airbus A321neo aircraft and Summer 2025 will see the airline opeate to 17 destinations including The Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Mainland Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Italy and Madeira.
