Edinburgh, Scotland headquartered Menzies Aviation has agreed a deal to acquire US based aviation services provider G2 for $305m USD.
G2 provides aviation services to major airlines across the US and once complete, the deal will see Menzies Aviation operating at 340 airports in 65 counties cementing it’s position as the world’s largest supplier of aviation services based on countries, airports and airport turns.

We are already the global industry leader in terms of countries, airports and aircraft turns and this transaction will expand our footprint to 340 airports worldwide.

Menzies Aviation’s first presence in the US came in 2000 and is already an industry leader there in providing ground, cargo and fuel services.
G2 was formed in 2005 and has grown strongly in the US market with a focus on cabin cleaning, passenger assistance and other ground services.
The deal sees Menzies Aviation acquired G2’s entire business.
