British Airways is retiring five more Boeing 747-400 Jumbo Jets this week with the first arriving at an airfield in Gloucestershire earlier today.

The earlier than planned retirement of the aircraft comes as a direct result of the Coronavirus pandemic which has grounded the majority of British Airways fleet.

When the Oneworld liveried Boeing 747-400 G-CIVL touched down in Cotswold Airport (Kemble) it marked the next wave of retirements after five were put out to pasture last week.

The next four aircraft are G-CIVJ, G-CIVK, G-CIVN and G-CIVH which will be stored for sale or parting out.
