Wizz Air hits 65 million passenger mark at London Luton

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air, along with its UK subsidiary Wizz Air UK has carried 65 million passengers from and to London Luton Airport (LTN/EGGW) according to data from the airport.

Wizz Air is the largest carrier at the Bedfordshire airport with 12 aircraft based there and around 100 flights per day to 58 destinations.

Popular destinations from Luton include Wizz Air’s main hub Bucharest along with Warsaw and Tirana.

The 65 millionth passenger arrived in Luton from Istanbul, a route launched earlier this year, and was welcomed by Wizz Air and Airport staff.
