Where will you go from Cardiff Airport this summer?

Holiday

With ever increasing passenger numbers and new routes being introduced by airlines, it is clear that Cardiff Airport has turned the corner from the dark days of TBI Abertis ownership and the lack of investment by the Spanish company.

The Welsh Government took ownership of the airport in 2013 and thanks to the large investment and change of management it has seen an average of 16% growth over the last 2 years making it one of the fastest growing airports in the UK and with a host of new destinations and routes, it’s easy to see why.

The recent announcement that Qatar Airways will be offering connections to the world via Doha in 2018 not only cements Cardiff Airport’s position as Wales’ National Airport but also offers the wider region including South West England the chance to have connections to places like Asia and Australia without having to travel via London.

But that’s next year, what about this year, where can you jet off to this summer from Cardiff Airport?
