Norwegian airline Wideroe (WF/WIF) are to start a twice-weekly flight from Bergen (BGO/ENBR) to London Southend (SEN/EGMC) from August.
The new service will begin on 31st August 2020 and the airline will be using an Embraer E190-E2.
London Southend Airport will be the third UK destination for Wideroe from Bergen. They already fly to Liverpool (LPL/EGGP) and Aberdeen (ABZ/EGPD).
The Embraer E190-E2 is the latest generation of medium range jet airliners from the Brazilian manufacturer. It entered service in 2018 and Wideroe was the launch customer.
This will be the first time that an Embraer E190-E2 has visited London Southend Airport.
