A UPS Boeing 767 Freighter made an emergency landing at Cardiff Airport (CWL/EGFF) this evening following a suspected fire onboard the aircraft.

UPS205 took off from Philadelphia and was due to arrive in London Stansted but the flight declared an emergency and descended rapidly as it approached the coast of the UK.

According to eyewitnesses on the ground, the flight arrived on Runway 12 at Cardiff Airport where it was met by the emergency services.

No fire was confirmed on the ground.
