Ukranian carrier SkyUp (PQ/SQP) has declared its intentions to launch flights between London Luton Airport and Kiev Boryspil as part of its European expansion.
According to RoutesOnline, the airline has said that intends to operate a 3-times-per-week service from 24th June subject to international travel being allowed by that time.
Kiev Boryspil (KBP/UKBB) is currently only served via London Heathrow and Gatwick with Ukraine International but the 3 year old carrier wants to offer a lower-cost alternative on the route between the two capitals.
Currently low-cost flights from Ryanair and Wizz Air go to Kiev’s smaller secondary airport, Zhuliany.
Non-essential International travel from the UK is tentatively set to return from the 17th May accordiong to the UK Governments plans.
