Going paperless is a good thing, having a digital audit trail not only makes it easy to trace things but using no paper is great for the environment so meet Centrik, the company that is helping Airlines worldwide to do just that.

Centrik is based at Biggin Hill in Kent, more famous for Spitfires than reams of A4 but its reach stretches far and wide across aerospace, maritime and financial sectors.

Take one of its latest client for example, Maldives start-up Manta Air.

The airline was looking for a solution to operating a paperless airline which would allow it to run a streamlined operation, thus keeping costs lower. It says it chose Centrik because of its modular structure, intuitive interface and unlimited concurrent user functionality, alongside the hundreds of recomendations of course.

Manta Air Chief Operating Officer, Edward , said: “Centrik has been integral in getting Manta Air operational – the only thing we regret is that we didn’t implement it sooner!

“Centrik has transformed our day-to-day operations, letting us efficiently and effectively manage everything, from risk reporting, safety, and compliance, through to our daily management and workflows.”

Centrik has provided Manta Air with a centralised, constantly updating repository of the airline’s processes, actions and outcomes.

The system that Centrik put in place gives Manta Air a centralised repository of the airline’s processes, actions and outcomes, across every department which is constantly updated and allows management to collate months of complex information in minutes as required, such as for audits or trend analysis

Mr Alsford added: “Anything we could possibly need is now at our fingertips, and with Centrik’s intuitive traffic light system, at a we can get a complete overview of every department’s status. We can instantly see what actions have been allocated, to who, and whether they’ve been completed. The system has introduced a phenomenal level of discipline throughout the business, making everything we do far more focused and efficient”

The Maldives CAA has already used the system for a range of Safety and Compliance audits and the airline found the total transparency and real-time access to all relevant information provided significant productivity and efficiency.

As for Manta Air, it currently operates two new ATR 600s, with a third on the way. The airline currently flies between Male’ and Kudahuvadhoo and will operate four daily flights on a pre-published fixed schedule.

Centrik systems are also helping Manta Air to set up its s AOC for the operation of its Twin Otter seaplanes.
