Indian airline Spicejet has confirmed it is launching flights from Delhi to London Heathrow from December 4th 2020.
The new route, which was announced by Chairman Ajay Singh, will be the low cost carriers first long-haul scheduled flight.
The flight will be operated by an Airbus A330-900neo.
As the flight will be operated under an Air Bubble agreement between the UK & India only specific categories of passengers can use the flight from India including Non Resident Indians or those holding a long-term UK Visa.
Spicejet plans to add more long-haul destinations in the coming months.
