Singapore Airlines (SQ/SIA) has resumed transit flights from the UK to countries including Australia and New Zealand via Changi.

Transit passengers from the UK were barred last month by the Singapore Government but Singapore Airlines has secured a special dispensation to allow passengers to transit to Auckland, New Zealand and Sydney, Australia.

Passenger numbers on the Sydney route are limited to 30 per flight though and passengers must present a negative COVID PCR Test 72 hours prior to arrival.

Singapore was given the exemption due to the limited number of flights available from the UK to New Zealand and Australia.
