Singapore Airlines (SQ/SIA) has clarified its planned flight schedule for July 2020 but it only includes one UK airport.

Pre-pandemic Singapore Airlines operated daily to London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL) and Manchester (MAN/EGCC), the latter also continuing on to Houston in the U.S.

The post-pandemic schedule though looks very different with just a three-times-per week flight to London Heathrow being operated by an Airbus A350-900XWB.

Like most airlines, Singapore is slowly rebuilding its network as demand for air travel increases following an almost global grounding of airlines due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Singapore Airlines has always been popular airlines for Britons wanting to travel to Asia and onward to Australia.

Many travel restrictions are also still in place including a need to quarantine for 14 days when arriving into the UK from outside the Common Travel Area (CTA) which is reducing demand for international travel to the UK.
