Scotland joins rest of UK in banning leisure air travel

Scotland has joined England & Wales in banning all but essential international air travel.

The move announced by First Minister Nicolas Sturgeon where she said that Scots “should not travel overseas except for essential purposes.”

The move means that there will be no holiday or leisure flights from mainland UK until at least 2nd December.

The UK’s largest tour operator, TUI, has already cancelled holidays between the 5th November and 2nd December.
