The latest raft of aircraft announcements for the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) has led the show selling out on Saturday with only a few Friday and Sunday tickets left available.
Among the latest aircraft to be confirmed is the Boeing F15QA Ababil, built exclusively for the Qatari Air Force by Boeing which will be giving a dynamic aerial display to show off its aerial ability.
The Norwegian Display Team, The Yellow Sparrow, are also now confirmed for their first ever UK display.
A pair for F16s belonging to the Moroccan Air Force will mark the turn of the African nation to the air show for the first time in 29 years as part of the 50th anniversary of the F16 which is being celebrated at the event.
Other key themes for this years show include 75-years of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centenary and its operational theme of ‘Pushing the Boundaries in Air and Space’ in recognition of 100 years of military aviation Test and Evaluation flying.
