Low-cost carrier Norwegian.com is ending its long haul service from London Gatwick (LGW/EGKK) to Singapore (SIN/WSSS).

The flight currently operates 4 times-per-week but will end on 10th January 2019, the last return flight will operate on the 11th January 2019.

The Singapore service has fallen victim to dwindling passenger numbers as it competes with legacy carriers such as British Airways and Singapore Airlines on the route which has traditionally been popular with business travelers, or as a stopover point.

The route has been in contrast to Norwegians routes to North and South America which have proved very popular and would explain why Norwegian is looking at Rio De Janeiro as a destination from Gatwick.
