Norwegian Air UK (DI/NRS) is planning changes to its long-haul schedule from London Gatwick (LGW/EGKK) for Winter 18/19.
One of the biggest changes planned is a change to Buenos Aires (EZE/SAEZ) service. The route currently operates 3-times-per-week but the low-cost carrier is planning to move it to daily from the 4th December 2018.
The move is based on the success of the route and the anticipated demand. Argentina is, of course, a summer destination during the UK winter.
The airline is also boosting its US connections with London Gatwick to Chicago O’Hare (ORD/KORD) available a 4-times-per-week service from 28th October 2018 and 10 flights per week to Fort Lauderdale (FLL/KFLL).
Las Vegas (LAS/KLAS) also returns with a 3-times-per-week service, up from 2 in winter 17/18 and Orlando (MCO/KMCO) is also increased to 3 flights per week. These changes happen on the 3rd November and 28th October respectively.
Norwegian, which recently rejected two takeover bids from IAG, is continuing it’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 737 Max based long-haul operation at Gatwick as it takes on the legacy carriers with low fares and free extras such as WiFi and meals included.
