Monday (12th July) saw Loganair (LM/LOG) commence its new service connecting Norwich Airport (NWI/EGSH) with the South West of England’s Exeter Airport (EXT/EGTE).

The new service will operate up to four times per week during the summer on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Sundays offering opportunities for both business and leisure travellers.

Loganair also restarted its Edinburgh service from Norwich which also operates four times per week.

Kay Ryan, Loganair’s chief commercial officer, said: “We are thrilled to be launching our new Norwich-Exeter route and recommencing flights to Edinburgh today.

“The services will provide essential connectivity for businesses as the economy begins to recover and allow loved ones from across the UK to finally reconnect.

“We are committed to restoring domestic services and playing our key role as the UK’s largest regional airline, at a time when UK connectivity has never been more important.”

Melanie Cook, PR & marketing manager, VisitNorwich added: “We are delighted flights from Exeter to Norwich are resuming in time for summer 2021.

“We look forward to welcoming visitors from the Exeter area who will find a host of great things to do in Norwich. There’s wonderful shopping- independent and high street, charming places to eat and drink- with lots of pretty outside seating too, Norwich Market, museums, attractions and historic architecture. Norwich is a great all-round city and easy to navigate on foot.

“Anyone planning a break should check out visitnorwich.co.uk for lots of inspiration on how to make the most of a visit to Norwich, the City of Stories.”

Both routes are operated by 49 seat Embraer ERJ145 Regional Jets.
