Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd (MAEL) has called in administrators leaving 250 staff facing redundancy.
The Engineering firm broke away from Monarch when the group collapsed and carried out work for third parties.
The company completed a restructuring in October last year but many customers had already sought alternative companies to have their work carried out.
Administrators KPMG said “This presented the business with significant challenges, making it unsustainable in its present form,”
A large number of the jobs have already been saved by transferring to other operations.
