Perhaps the most anticipated flight simulator game of recent times finally has a release date!
Microsoft Flight Simulator, the first new flight simulator from Microsoft since 2006, is being released on 18th August 2020 and is available to pre-order now at the Windows or Xbox Stores
The new game uses Microsoft’s visionary Azure AI engine which harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to create a rich experience for the user and create near photoreal graphics across the world out of the box, and if the trailers are anything to go by, it looks simply stunning!
Perhaps one of the most surprising aspects of the new game is the relatively low systems specs required to run it.
Those familiar with Flight Simulator X for example will know the frustration of constant upgrades to get a smooth running sim.
According to Microsoft an i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1500X combined with 16GB Ram and a GTX970 Graphics card is enough to give you the best experience.
Flight Simulator comes in three versions. Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe. All feature the Azure Engine AI scenery but the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe feature additional aircraft and scenery.
