London Southend Airport (SEN/EGMC)

London Southend Airport

London Southend Airport (IATA: SEN, ICAO: EGMC) is located around 35 miles from central London and until the 1970s was the 3rd busiest London airport, losing its crown to Stansted.

The airport is a base for Low-cost carriers Easyjet (U2/EZY) and Ryanair (FR/RYR) as well as seeing operations from Wizz Air and Loganair.

The airport is owned by Stobart Group which also owns Stobart Aviation.

The airport has recently seen substantial growth thanks to its proximity to London without congestion and passenger numbers are growing at around 30% per year.

Southend has been voted the best London airport for 6 years in a row thanks to its customer service, choice of routes and ease of use.
