The UK’s largest regional airline Loganair (LM/LOG) has confirmed that it will be reconnecting the Isle of Man with key London airports.
An initial daily service (except Saturdays) to London City will launch on 19th April but this will increase to twice-daily from 3rd May.
The daily service to London Heathrow will also commence on 3rd May and, with the London City service, will be flown under a codeshare agreement with British Airways and will be operated by crew from the Isle of Man base which employs over 30 people.
Loganair’s Chief Executive Jonathan Hinkles said: “We’re absolutely delighted that the Isle of Man’s airline is restoring island-based connectivity to London – serving not just one but two major airports. Our conveniently timed flights to London City will offer excellent connectivity to the heart of London for both business and leisure travellers, whilst our London Heathrow services will complement that access to London itself with the broadest possible range of onward connecting flights with our partner airlines to over 100 destinations worldwide.”

Both routes will be operated by environmentally friendly regional airliners, the 72 seat ATR72-600 turboprop.
