JetBlue New York to Heathrow flight to launch in August

JetBlue is the sixth largest US airline

The much anticipated launch of the JetBlue services between New York and London Heathrow has now been confirmed as launching on 11th August 2021

Initially operating twice per day, it will mark the beginning of JetBlue’s transatlantic ambitions using their new Airbus A321LR aircraft.

The flight will be the first low-cost service between Heathrow and New York and will see the airline competing against British Airways and Virgin Atlantic as well as US carriers including American and United.

In addition to Heathrow, JetBlue will add a second service from New York to London Gatwick from 29th September 2021, again, twice-daily.

Both will depart from New York’s JFK Airport.

A further service to Boston is expected in Summer 2022.

Mint – JetBlue’s premium cabin

The Airbus A321LR will offer economy seating as well as up to 24 Transatlantic “Mint Suites” for additional comfort.
